Even from all the way over here on this side of the pond it was magical. I love weddings, and this was the wedding of all weddings. I want these two love birds to make it. There's is a beautiful love story and one that will last through the ages.
Besides this beautiful couple I love British weddings for another reason... Their Hats! Tell me you don't secretely wish you could pull off something like this...

How they get those beautiful pieces of art to stay in place, I will never understand but I love the tradition.

Now I'm regretting not watching! I did see Oprah's recap, but I know it wasn't the same. I, too, am fascinated with those hats. Amazing!
I WATCHED IT! Douglas woke me up at 2:30 and we watched until we had to go to work at 6:30. My favorite part was listening to my "British" husband sing "God Save The Queen" with the rest of the Brits across the pond, at the end of the wedding ceremony. Loved the dress. Loved the music. Loved it all.
For some reason i got up by accident too and ended watching it! Loved it! Taped it so my girls could watch it when they got up...they were so excited!
