Dance, dance, dance, dance, dancing machine

Thursday was our 9th wedding anniversary. The theme for the gift this year was leather, so we strapped on our leather soled shoes and headed down to an all day dance workshop. Now my hubby has rhythm. Many of you have seen him perform countless times. That boy can move and he looks amazing! I may not have the performance skills he does but I have musical talent, can easily find the beat, and pick up most dance moves pretty quickly. However, we have a hard time coordinating ourselves on the dance floor whenever we dance together. So yesterday we took a "Summer Dance Party" dance workshop. We had 6 hours of Salsa, Fox Trot, and Swing. What a blast! What could be better a day spent with my hubby without my children and awesome dancing? (Now don't get me wrong, I love being with our children but seriously how often do we get to spend an extended period of time with our spouse without the children?) We decided we are going to become wedding crashers so we can practice our moves. People watch out, we have had professional training and are looking to dance anywhere! Seriously, I would recommend a couples dance class for anyone. It was amazing, a great anniversary gift!

Happy Anniversary!!! Wow Nine years already. Sounds like so much fun. I can picture it now... I don't think Inoke would be so open to the idea. Peni is such a good sport. :)

Fess up - were you sore the next day? Don't lie.

My hubby can dance too, but there is no way I'm getting on a dance floor with him. I don't like to volunteer to look like a dummy.
Nine years? Really? Man-time flies when you're having fun, eh?

That is seriously the coolest anniversary gift ever! I'll have to pass that one along to my babe.

Amy-I am soooo jealous! Sounds like a blast. Maybe after this baby comes I can talk Josh into a few dance classes. (Since high school we have only slow danced. His version of bustin' a move was standing against the wall-while I dance around him.)

Your kids are adorable! Sounds like you are doing well! Miss you! Keep in touch!

That is so neat-Saki would love that, I feel bad I'm such a horrible dancer-I get too self conscious, but I love to dance with Saki! I can't wait till I can say I've been married 9 years, that's really something nowadays--it's good to have a break from the kids, my parents always had friday night as date night, and as of today I found a babysitter, I am so thilled!!! Glad you two are so happy :)

Sooo jealous! That is so great that you guys did that. I know the both of you can move. I'm sure you made even the instructor feel inferior to what you brought to the floor. I'll have to get married soon just so that i can see your moves on the dance floor.
