A Different Kind of Tag

I saw this on a few blogs. It's always fun to reminisce.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Plus I am dying to know who is reading this blog... it makes me bummed when I don't have any comments and then I go to friends blogs they have 37 comments! So boost my self esteem and leave a comment Please, please. See what you have reduced me to? I am now begging!

I remember that day when you asked to go home early. Something told me that would be a good idea. So you went home, where your water broke. I'm so glad I listened to you!!

Oh, the ah-ha.com days....I remember meeting you when I first started in sales and loving your last name. I would say it over and over again out loud because I loved the way it sounded and rolled off my tongue. I was 19 years old then! Wow. And then getting trained by you in that little Large Accounts office in the MyFamily building. Do you remember the first client call you put me on (on like my 2nd day)? I was so freaked out. I think you fed me ever word on that call! I remember your three mirrors and your beautiful baby boy crawling around on the floor and your awesome laugh, I've always loved your laugh. Not to leave out the awkward moments I felt when you and Nyla would start up some conversation having to do with pregnancy or bathroom moments or boobs... ha! :)

I don't think I could come up w/ just 1 memory of you... I have 27 yrs of memories. O.k. so maybe I don't consciously remember all 27 yrs of them, but they are there. Maybe my most interesting memory of both you & Tata is when you came home from Hawaii before you guys were even dating. I came home from work one night & you made me talk to some "strange" guy on the phone who told me that he was gonna marry you & you just laughed. You also tried to explain to him how much we look alike but ended up pointing out all our differences. That was the 1st time I ever talked to Tata.

I remember when I got back from Virginia and you could not wait to have your best babysitter back! I came over early so we could hang out and I met Eder Kini-kini and Elder Flowers. And then we had fun trashing on Elder Davis and Elder Newman...goodtimes!

Any memory I could post would be far too inappropriate and revealing way too much information that no one wants to know about...especially since it all happened 15-16 years ago! Yikes..has it been that long? All I can say is that essays rule!
b.t.w. how do you make such a cute blog template, I'm new at this.

Hi Amy,

This is Amy H (wow does that make me go back in time). Do you remember always having to use our last initials so you were Amy B and I was Amy H? My memories of you are really vague because we're old and I think my brain has relinquished Colonial Heights memory space to more recent things like the last time I fed my new baby. Mostly my memories are of playgrounds and birthday parties when we were in 5th and 6th grade, then some more memories of high school band. But, the one thing that I remember most about the Bairds is that you and your family had names that went in the order of the alphabet...Amy, Brian, Chris (?), Daniel, Emily and then I can't remember the rest. Hope you are doing well. Talk to you soon!

I have millions of memories, but I think the one I remember the most at this second (the pressure!) is that you were the first to leave for college. We all drove to SFO to see you off and there was a LOT of crying going on. Because your school started earlier than the rest of us, you were the first indication that our lives were definitely changing.

Lets see-I think Sunday was the first time I met you, but I instantly thought you were a very kind sweet person and I hope you come down with the kids for sevens! For Saki--in Hawaii Peni did the "wild wild west" dance...

We got to hang out in Hawaii together when I came out for a school trip while you were at BYU.

My memory isn't as good as I'd like... I was trying to come up with something witty to say here, but all I can come up with for memories with you is early Saturday morning Weight Watcher meetings (which I miss)... and getting together to plan the music for primary, but spending most of the time chatting about life. You are a wonderful friend and I hope that we keep in touch!

Sorry it's taken me so long to comment. I'm trying to remember something specific. I do remember being in seminary as well. Sis. Ammerman was the best. No one dared interrupt her class, she was too sweet of a lady. Although there were plenty that slept through seminary - like a few of your brothers lol!
I also remember being at girl's camp with you.

Hmmm! The memories... for anyone else who reads this I was one of fijiangirl's missionary companions! I was also an avid sleep walker / talker... and each morning I would wake up with my comp a bit frustrated (due to my horrible habit I would wake her up at night) but she was usually shaking her head and laughing at whatever I did during the night!

One morning I woke up and the phone was in bed with me and I had been 'talking' to someone on the phone (asleep, in the middle of the night)! Fijiangirl got a kick out of that one! :o)

Where do I start? I have so many fond memories of you. I remember when I first met you at the dorms, that we were going to the same Arizona Tucson Mission! Its the best! You were the best roomate off-campus staying with Nancy and Serina. The first time you and Peni were hanging out, before you even started dating. Didnt yous meet at the library when you were an assistant at the computers. Our boyfriends or sponsors as I like to call them at BYUH! Being bridesmaids at Nancys wedding. Going home to Stockton with you during christmas of 1996. Your graduation gift that you gave me for my BYUH graduation--silver frame with the graduation date engraved on it--I still have it displayed in our front room. I love that frame.
Me coming out and staying with your family while I was in Stockton for work from Utah. Being both preggy in Utah! You and Peni coming out to my oldest daughters blessing in Utah.
Your phone call to me in Pago just days before I was going to deliver my second son.
Always sending my family christmas cards--never missed a year!
But I think the funniest moment was when ....lets just call it the 'popes hat'. Oh what the heck, your bra that used to fit just right on your head and we'd just crack up and call it ' the popes hat'! ha! ha!ha!ha!
Luv ya! Sis! I really do miss those good ol' days! You're the best friend that I miss so much!

When we were in Relief Society in 1997 at BYU-Hawaii, you organized the most awesome musical dinner entitled "Women at the Well." Everything from food to invitations to singing was absolutely flawless. Elder L. Tom Perry stopped by to make the event even more perfect.

Another memory is when you were my academic advisor a couple years later, after my mission. Once again, you displayed your amazing work ethic and organization. When you were leaving the university, you sent each of your students notification that you wanted to leave the incoming academic advisor with the most organized files ever.
